Superb to start with…,
I honestly couldn’t recommend this TV more. Thoroughly pleased with it… the 3D is superb with very little cross talk (million times better than the Sony HX803, Sony NX713, and the few Samsungs that I looked at in Currys C650 and C700 I think they were).
Well worth noting that this TV is FULL 3D and has the transmitter built in. A lot of TVs are only 3D Ready and you have to get the transmitter separately. Who wants extra stuff around the TV though?!
Internet connectivity works well, both YouTube and iPlayer being supported. Had no issues getting it onto my wireless network.
Regular TV is as you’d expect to be honest. The built Freeview HD tuner giving a nice, crisp, picture.
edit: Have now got a problem with the set after only 3 months (it was already a replacement as the first one had scratches INSIDE the TV!)… Now can’t watch any 3D content as the TV emits a loud buzzing noise and refuses to sync with any of the glasses I have. Awaiting either a refund, or for Toshiba to fix it.
edit 2: After speaking with Toshiba support, they advised to send it back to Amazon for a refund or a replacement… I decided to go for a refund. When the TV works it’s really nice, but the quality control at Toshiba leaves a LOT to be desired, and I just didn’t feel like playing Russian roulette with another replacement. Buyer beware to be honest. That said, Amazon’s returns process is top notch – very pleased with them!

Very Pleased,
I got this TV to replace my old Toshiba 32″ CRT (which was top of the range when bought 12 years ago). I looked at the various models/bundles but decided to stick with Toshiba. My primary concerns were size – it needs to fit in an existing gap by the fireplace which is about 97cm – and I wanted LED backlighting. I wasn’t fussed about 3D.
My old TV had a Dolby Digital decoder and as I watch a lot of films wanted to have surround sound on this too – so teamed it with a Sony 3D Blu-Ray Home Cinema system Sony BDVE370.CEK Blu-Ray Home Cinema System – Black -MULTIREGION for DVD Playback + Panasonic Quality HDMI Cable Included. I was glad I did because the sound on the new TV is no-where near as good as the old – but then I didn’t expect it to be (you couldn’t get a surrond sound system in something so thin (literally a couple of centimetres).
The picture is superb – almost too crisp I could say, but if you’re used to a 12 year old CRT, flat panels do look different.
We watched Avatar on Blu-Ray on it last night and it was incredible – the clarity was simply amazing teamed with the screen size, it was brilliant.
Overall I would thourghly recommend this TV – its sound isn’t out of this world, so if you do want to enjoy that experience when watching films then I’d team with a Home Cinema system – but the screen size and clarity are both excellent.
I should also say a special thank-you to Amazon and the couriers who managed to delivery it just before Christmas despite the weather problem.

Beware,
Bought this TV to venture into the world of 3D, however, ended up sending it back. What the technical spec’s dont tell you is that if you are watch 3D and there is a source of natural light entering the room, you will get a horrific flickering effect when wearing the 3D glasses. The actual 3D tv picture was watchable, its the peripheral vision that the flickering affects, a bit like having a strobe light on.
Pros : 2d HD picture quality & Price
Cons : Peripheral flickering in 3D, poor sound quality, uncomfortable 3D glasses, picture drag in 3D.
I would wait for the second generation of 3D tv’s before purchasing a 3D tv.
